ICWC A Taste of ICWC: Honoring Culture and Tradition with the theme “Colours of The World”
The International Conference and Exhibitions on World Cultures (ICWC) held over two remarkable days, September 8th and 9th, at Kompleks Kraf Kuala Lumpur, was a vibrant celebration of global diversity and cultural traditions.
A Taste of ICWC brought the world cultures together at one place to celebrate and preserve each unique culture and to promote tourism. In these 2 days, A Taste of ICWC also had food trucks and vendors such as Henna artists created intricate designs, while Chef Liza’s booth delighted taste buds. Gelato stands provided cool, sweet treats, and traditional crafts and artisanal items offered a chance to take home a piece of global culture.
Visitors also had the opportunity to explore exhibitions representing countries such as Romania, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and many more. These exhibitions showcased the artistic, and cultural traditions of these nations.
Throughout the event, the spotlight was on Gala Nite, which is a Gala Dinner in buffet style, offering a tantalising array of international flavours.
Live cultural performances, featuring The Slava Ukrainian Cultural Centre, Zumi Ramos from Cuba, and Indonesian teams, added vibrant hues to the event. These performances brought the world’s cultures to life, captivating the audience with music and dance from various corners of the globe.
The event also highlighted Malay tradition, “Malam Melayu” from literature to attire, providing insight into Malaysia’s rich heritage.
ICWC 2023 demonstrated that culture is not just about sights and sounds, but also about the tastes, textures, and traditions that bring people together. It was a celebration of unity, diversity, and the beauty of the human experience.

ICWC Team Holds Courtesy Visit with Deputy Prime Minister YBhg Dato’ Seri Fadhilah Yusof
Mr. Azmi Mustapha, the esteemed President of the International Conference and Exhibition on World’s Culture (ICWC), along with the organising team, had the honour of meeting with YBhg Dato’ Seri Fadhilah Yusof, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, at his office today.

ICWC President Holds Productive Meeting with MOE to Foster Global Exposure for Malaysian Students

Republic of Uzbekistan Confirmed Join ICWC

ICWC is officially launched!
The highly anticipated Launching Ceremony of the International Conference and Exhibition on World Cultures (ICWC) took place yesterday at the prestigious Panggung Sari, Kompleks Kraf Kuala Lumpur. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Mrs Zubaidah Binti Mukhtar, Director-General of Istana Budaya, representing the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and Mrs Zainariah Johari from Yayasan Hasanah. ICWC will be partnering with Asfarena Group to organise the first ICWC Kebaya Design Competition starting from the 1st of June 2023. The competition aims to provide a platform for designers to showcase their talent and skills in designing traditional kebaya outfits, while also promoting cross-cultural exchange and appreciation.

ICWC is proud to announce the appointment of ICWC Country Ambassadors to represent ICWC in their respective countries. The countries are; Italy, UAE, Canada, Australia and Belgium. ICWC targets to appoint 40 country ambassadors by end of May 2023.

ICWC will be organising for the first time the ICWC Championship Cooking Competition. Together with Sweet Azza Sdn Bhd, the competition hopes to draw in professional as well as amateur cooks and chefs all around the world to compete with each other to prepare traditional dishes of the world!
